Mary wanted her teeth straightened, so she went to an orthodontist for an evaluation. There wasn\'t enough room and her bite was too \"off\" for conventional braces, so she was referred to an oral surgeon who had planned to break her jaw and reset her teeth so that the orthodontist could then move them into a better position. The estimated time to treat this case would have been 12 - 24 months. The risks involved with the surgery are substantial. There is also substantial pain and missed work.

She was referred to our office to have a broken tooth fixed prior to the surgery. We discussed what her goals were with the oral surgeon. I made an impression or mold of her mouth and my lab technician and I figured out how we could cosmetically change the appearance of her smile, without any braces or complicated surgery.

This case took 2 visits and about 2 hours to create. We placed 12 all porcelain crowns. She never missed a day of work. Oh, her teeth are a lot whiter as well.

We have been through so much in the past with bridge work, awful pain and suffering. Mostly due from horrible work. We spent a real fortune and always walked out in worse condition than we expected. This is truly worth writing about. The smile is not only on the outside, but is also from within.

Dr. Fox, please know from day one when we sat with you for our consultation we walked out with a comfortable and secure feeling that prompted us to know we were in the right place.
